ARIANESPACE LAUNCHED COMMUNICATION SATELLITE INTO ORBIT
EVRY, FRANCE, Arianespace yesterday hoisted into orbit a communication satellite which will provide satellite broadcasting in North and South America for over 15 years by the canadian operator Telesat. The satellite ANIK F1 was launched by an Ariane-4 rocket from the space center of Kourou in french Guyana.
