JAPAN AIRLINES TO BUY 10 BOEING AIRCRAFT
JAPAN, Japan Airlines today said it will buy two 767-300ERs and eight 777-200ER planes between 2002 and 2004. The aircrafts will replace ten older MD-11 models and will be bought between 2002 and 2004. The purchase will permit JAL to save 10 billion yen in annual group costs. The planes will be used on non-stop flights to Europe and Usa.
