The Be-200 has been developed as an efficient aircraft in order to fight forest fires and is considered better than CL-C415 of Canadian production. The new plane owes a lot to its military predecessor, the A-40 Albatros, from which it has inherited the original configuration. Currently the Betair consortium, that constructs this airplane, is composed by Beriev, Iapo and several other foreign industries....
