U.S. POLICE TO OPERATE MD EXPLORE HELICOPTERS

NEW YORK, The Suffolk County (New York) Police Department will be the first agency to use MD Explorers in the United States. They are slated for delivery next summer. These helicopters will be used for airmedical and airborne law enforcement missions as transporting and treating trauma patients. MD Explorers are equipped with searchlight, forward looking infrared and moving map display.
