Turin, Italy - FiatAvio has completed the new turbopump

FiatAvio has completed and delivered to Snecma the new turbopump that in 2006 will be part of the Ariane 5 rocket after 9 trying campaigns. The new turbopump will be able to work at -180° without any lubricant. With the installation of the new component Ariane will be able to let grow the cargo capacity from 5,9 tons to 10.
