Panic at Eilat airport

Tel Aviv, Israel - An engine caught fire as a plane was on its run to take-off

The incident occurred as an engine of a passenger jetliner belonging to Arkia Airlines caught fire as the aircraft was to take-off from the Israeli airport of Eilat almost ended in tragedy. The pilot anyway has been able to abort the take-off without further troubles. The plane has been then evacuated and fire fighters successfully extinguished the flames. (007)
