Us fighters escorted American Airlines flight

Washington, Usa - After being alerted by one of the two air marshalls on board

Two Us Air Force fighters lifted off yesterday to escort an American Airlines aircraft departed from Houston (Texas) as soon as one of the two air marshalls on board warned about the presence of a passenger handling something "strange". Fbi has anyway not excluded it could have been an attempted hijacking situation. (007)
