Singapore Airlines to give life to defunct Ansett
Singapore - By creating a new 24-plane carrier
The Asian air carrier Singapore Airlines (SIA), as reported by a local television channel, could shortly give new life to the defunct Australian carrier Ansett. According to report SIA consultants are working at the proposal since 6 months ago. The new airline, which will wear Ansett's logo, could count on a fleet of 24 planes to operate on Australian routes thus competing with Qantas. (007)
