After some of the 352 passengers on board an A330 belonging to German LTU alerted pilot of having seen fire while taking off from Catania's airport, the aircraft carried out an emergency landing. Even though rescue teams were ready to intervene, fortunately there has not been need for them to do anything. After checks have been completed the jetliner eventually took off towards Dusseldorf in Germany....
