BOEING TO PURCHASE HAWKER DE HAVILLAND

AUSTRALIA, Boeing is to take over australian aviation firm Hawher de Havilland for an undisclosed price. The deal will increase capacity to manufacture components for Boeing aircraft on australian fleets. The aviation company employs 950 people at three plants - two in Melbourne and one in Sidney - from which revenue exceeded AUD$160 million last year.
