Mig Corporation to modernize Slovak Mig-29 fleet

Bratislava, Slovak Republic - The country could enter Nato by the end of 2002

Mig Corporation, the Russian aeronautical manufacturer, announced to have reached an agreement with the Slovak ministry of Defence to modernize its Mig-29 fleet. This "re-styling" operation is to allow Bratislava government air force to reach Nato standard, in view of its potential entry in the North Atlantic Treaty organization. (007)
