Air India to renew its fleet
New Delhi, India - By the acquisition of 6 A310s and 2 B747-400s

The air carrier Air India, in the hope to get more slots at the London airport of Heathrow, will likely purchase 8 new aircraft, 6 Airbus A310s and 2 Boeing 747-400s. According to New Delhi's ministry of Civil Aviation, thanks to these new airliners, Air India will link the Indian cities of Cochin, Chennai and Bangalore with both New York City and Chicago. (007)
