Northwest to delay the delivery of 6 Airbus

Washington, Usa - Set to reach the carrier's fleet by 2003

"Star and Stripes" air carrier Northwest Airlines announced to delay deliveries of 6 out of 22 Airbus aircraft in order and whose arrival was scheduled for 2003. For Richard Anderson, Northwest's CEO, a part from 23 regonal jets, this year his led-by airline will receive 38 airliners: two 747-400s, seven 757-300s, three 757-200s, 24 A319s and two A320s.
