French parachutist falls into sea

Sassari, Italy - He has been rescued off Sardinian coasts

A French parachutist fell uninjured into the sea off the northern coasts of Sardinia, Italy. The man, about 50, was supposed to land in Corsica, but he miscalculated his launch and fell 2 miles off the coasts of Santa Teresa di Gallura, where he was rescued by local Coast Guard warned by a ferry.
