Northwest flight attendant vote for strike

Flight attendants at US carrier Midwest Airlines have voted overwhelmingly in favor of strike action if their two-year-old contact negotiations with the company are not settled. The airline's 465 flight attendants say the action could go ahead if Midwest refuses to agree a reasonable contract and continues to push for the right to make unilateral cuts in future pay and benefits (Gio/B)
