Us president George Bush thanked the seven Nato Awacs crews for having been patrolling Us eastern coasts after September 11. President Bush said the deployment of Nato aircraft had reinforced North Atlantic Alliance's commitment for mutual defense assistance. Radar aircraft crew members returned to their base in Germany yesterday. (004)
