Swiss airline predicts recovery

Basel, Switzerland - EUR 68.7m more than its business plan's forecast

The recently established air carrier Swiss recorded a EUR 355.3m revenue and EUR 130.6m losses in the first quarter 2002. This outcome allows Swiss to exceed its forecast made in December by EUR 68.7m. According to this result, Swiss management affirmed their 2002 objectives will be achieved for sure and company's losses will be lower than EUR 756m expected. (004)
