Embraer optimistic on regional jet sales

According to Brazilian aircraft maker Embraer, world aviation market will require about 8700 regional jet aircraft in the next 20 years. It predicts that 4,085 of these will be delivered between now and 2011 and another 4,610 in the following decade.
