India helps Afghanistan to rebuilt its civilian fleet

New Delhi, India

Afghanistan's national carrier, Ariana Airlines, will receive three Airbus A300s as a gift from Air India along as Indian pilots who will will fly the aircraft for the first three moths while Afghan pilots undergo training. This would help to rebuild the war-torn country's shattered fleet The three planes are among 23 due to be phased out by Air India which is modernizing its fleet. (Gio/B)
