Tunis, Tunisia - Egyptian embassy in Tunis reports 14 dead

The Egyptian embassy in Tunis reported 14 dead in the crash yesterday. Tunisian officials communicated one more. A today Tunisian paper gave an account of 24 dead and 33 injured, as reported by doctors who visited the spot where the crash occurred. The Boeing 737 pilot has been reported dead by the Egyptian embassy officials, contrary to first evidence. (004)
