Virabongsa steps down from Thai Airways presidency

Bangkok, Thailand - To avoid pilot's strike

Virabongsa Ramangkula quit the chair of Thai Airways International to avoid the risk of a pilot's strike. THai pilots requested Mr Virabongsa -former Minister of finance- to step down for having appointing people against national air carrier's rules. (004)
