U.S. UAV crashes in Philippines
Manila, Philippines - Officially it was engaged in training operations
U.S. military officials said the crash of an unmanned U.S. spy plane which has been used to help Philippine forces battle Muslim guerrillas linked to Osama bin Laden, was not caused by hostile fire. However, the officials said, an investigation into the accident was under way. The UAV crashed into the sea, and it was one of the several UAVs which have been used to gather information about the guerrillas....
