Delta jetliner lands in emergency with 240 on board

Charlotte, North Carolina - An engine fire caused the emergency landing

Due to a fire of and engine a Dlta-operated MD-11 jetliner from Atlanta to London, with 240 people on board, has been forced to land at Charlotte airport,in North Carolina, after to have jettisoned 45 tons of fuel. After landing, the aircraft has been evacuated and some passenger reported slight injures jumping down from door slides. (Gio/B)
