Texas Pacific Group buys Gate Gourmet

Zurich, Switzerland - The Swissair catering and food division

Gate Gourmet, a division of Swissair Group, has been sold to the Us Texas Pacific Group. So far no information about the value of the operation has been revealed. Gate Gourmet employs 26.000 people and is ranked second in world wide on-flight catering services. In 2001 Gate Gourmet registered a SFbn 3,2 worth general turnover. (m/cesn)
