Strike at Copenhagen airport creates disruption on SAS flights

Copenhagen, Denmark - Over 100 flights canceled

Due to a strike of the airport workers at Copenhagen caused more than 100 flights cancellation by Scandinavian carrier SAS today as airport workers walked off the job. Both European and domestic flights were hit as the workers joined a demonstration against the Danish government's budget proposals. Long haul flights to Asia and the US are reported to be have been unaffected. (Gio/B)
