Delta, American and Continental eliminate the commission to travel agencies
USA - The travel agencies will no longer have the 5% commission no U.S. sold tickets
Three among the major U.S. airlines, Delta Airlines, American Airlines and Continenatal Airlines decided to eliminate the 5% commission, until now awarded to travel agencies. The statement applies to U.S.sold tickets, and has been considered by ASTA, American Society of Travel Agencies, as very concerning, as the three airlines cover a large part of market. (Gio/B)
