Smoke alarm aboard of an Air France aircraft

Rome, Italy - The smoke detector was out of order

As the pilot of the Air France flight 2104 landed in Rome-Fiumicino airport yesterday afternoon noticed the smoke detector light on, he requested fire fighters intervention to the control tower. After prompt checks, the international airport fire brigade found fortunately it was just a malfunctionement of the smoke detector. The plane so ready to take-off to Paris at 6.45pm. (m/cesn)
