LUFTHANSA WILL BUY 24,9% OF EUROWINGS, THE THIRD GERMAN AIRLINE
BERLIN, Lufthansa is aiming at improving services and flight in North-Rhine and Westfalia, the most crowded land. That's why it will purchase 24,9% of Eurowings, which has a fleet of 42 aircrafts and a billing of DM 730 million. The acquisition will be operational from january 1st 2001. Lufthansa could be interested with buying other shares of Eurowings too.
