FAA ORDERS TO HALT PRO AIR FLIGHTS

DETROIT, FAA ordered to halt all Pro Air flights because of serious aircraft safety problems. But at the same time, Pro Air, american airline, said it had appealed the FAA's action, saying the agency's order was ''issued erroneously and was based on incorrect and outdated information.''
