LANCHILE NOMINATED SAFEST IN SOUTH AMERICA

SANTIAGO, According to a study conducted by Dow Jones' America Economia magazine, LanChile Airlines has been named the safest commercial airline in South America. The study has been conducted during October 2001 among 500 executives from companies through Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Venezuela.
