UE EXTENDS AIRLINE AIDS TO PORTUGAL AND LUXEMBOURG
BRUSSELS, The European Commission has given th governments of Portugal and Luxembourg the go ahead for a financial aid to their airlines in order to cover insurance expenses. "There are clearly difficulties in the insurance market to take charge of the costs linked to these catastrophes", said european commissioner Ms de Palacio.
