CHINESE AIRLINES TO CUT FARES
CHINA, Chinese airlines are expected to lower fares in the months ahead, said unofficial sources close to the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC). The cut will be due to the slumping oil prices and in attempt to give new life to the airline industry. The cut is to start by the end of the year or early 2002.
