NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND AWARDS A OVER 17 USDM CONTRACT

USA, Raytheon Systems, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $17,243,423 contract to exercise an option for the Sidewinder AIM-9X Low Rate Initial Production of 67 All Up Round Missiles, 3 Captive Air Training Missiles, and other associated components. Work is expected to be completed in April 2004. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
