UNITED AIRLINES DEFERS AIRCRAFT DELIVERIES
NEW YORK, A United Airlines' spokesman said the company will take delivery of only 24 of the 49 aircraft scheduled for 2002 and none of the 18 aircraft planned to be delivered in 2003. The putting off will permit the airline to reduce the outlay costs for aircraft by $2,5 billion during 2002 and 2003.
