MCDONNELL DOUGLAS HELICOPTER AWARDED A NEAR 242 USDM CONTRACT
USA, McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co., Mesa, Arizona is being awarded a $241,993,426 firm-fixed-price contract for the remanufacture of 35 Egyptian Air Force AH-64D Apache helicopters. Work completion is expected by Aug. 31, 2006. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.
