AIRBUS CRASHED IN NEW YORK (2): VOICE RECORDER REPORTS RATTLING NOISES
NEW YORK, A closer look at a cockpit voice recorder of the Airbus A-300 revealed loud rattling twice in the cockpit of American Airlines Flight 587, and seconds after the A-300 encountered turbulence from another plane, a Japan Airlines Boeing 747. First rattling noise was heard 107 seconds after takeoff. That supported investigators' belief that the crash was an accident.
