BUSH PROPOSES 60% CUTS IN NUCLEAR WEAPONS ARSENALS
WASHINGTON, USA, U.S. President George W. Bush declared, in a press conference preceding the USA-Russia meeting, that he will propose to Russian President Vladimir Putin to cut the 60% of the nuclear weapons arsenal of the two nations. According to Start III agreement, this will reduce the number of these weapons from about 7000 to near 2500.
