GENERAL ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT ENGINES AWARDED A 25,7 USDM CONTRACT
USA, General Electric Aircraft Engines, General Electric Co., Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $35,700,000 contract for the procurement of approximately 103 F404-402 engine modules and attendant hardware that powers the F/A-18C/D Hornet aircraft. Work is expected to be completed in September 2002. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
