LITHUANIAN AIRLINES ANNOUNCES CUTBACKS
LITHUANIA, "Lithuanian Airlines will cut afternoon flights to and from Amsterdam as of Jan. 14, 2002", said Indre Paliuliene, spokeswoman for the airline. Lithuanian Airlines also announced that it might cut 18-20% of its workforce, currently including 1000 employees. The carrier reported a loss of $2,07 million in the first half of the year.
