ROLLS-ROYCE WINS EMIRATES ORDER
LONDON, Rolls-Royce PLC announced it has been awarded an order for eight Trent 500 engines from Emirates. The engines will power eight Airbus A340-600 aircrafts ordered by the airline. The deal is worth up to $475 million. Deliveries will start in 2005.
