LANCHILE REPORTS FIRST NINE MONTHS RESULT

SANTIAGO, LanChile reported a net profit of $15,16 million for the period Jan-Sept 2001. The carrier posted a net loss of $4,74 million in the third quarter versus a profit of 5,74 million in the same period of 2000.
