US AIRWAYS: HEAVY LOSSES IN 3Q

ARLINGTON, US Airways reported losses for $766 million in the third quarter. The airline had to face an additional charge of $309 million. Operating revenues for the quarter fell 16,5%, compared with the same period last year, said a spokesman for the carrier.
