ROLLS-ROYCE AWARDED A 250 GBPM LOAN BY UK GOVERNMENT
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, The Competition European Commission give green light to UK government to give a 250 GBPm (about 400 USDm) loan to British engine company Rolls-Royce in order to continue development of the new Trent 600 and 900 aircraft turbofan engines. The Trent 900 is the engine that will be used on the new Airbus air giant A-380 aircraft.
