ALITALIA COULD DROP DELTA AS US PARTNER
ROME, Italy's Transport minister Pietro Lunardi yesterday said that "it is possible that instead of Delta, Alitalia could look to another U.S. carrier". "Our agreement with Air France foresaw a deal with Delta but they have problems", Lunardi added explaining that the airline at the moment needs stronger partners. Alitalia and Delta Air Lines are both members of SkyTeam alliance.
