ILLINOIS GOVERNOR OUTLINES EXPANSION PLAN FOR O'HARE CHICAGO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
CHICAGO, Illinois Gov. George Ryan yesterday outlined a $12 billion plan to expand O'Hare International Airport and build a new airport south of Chicago. "Since September the 11th, we've become much more aware that air transportation is a vital, crucial part of our nation's economy", Ryan said. The plan would include the construction of three runways during the next 10 to 15 years.
