CHINA SOUTHERN AIRLINES TO BUY JETS FROM EMBRAER
SHANGAI, China Southern Airlines intends to buy 20 ERJ145 regional jets plus an option to acquire another 10, a source from the airline said. The deal has to be approved by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC) and the powerful State Development Planning Commssion (SDPC). The list price for an ERJ145 is about $19-20 million.
