SINGAPORE AIRLINES CUTS EXECUTIVE'S SALARIES

SINGAPORE, Singapore Airlines yesterday announced it is to trim managers' salaries between 7% and 15%. The airline said Cheong Choong Kong, the carrier's ceo, will lose 15% of his base salary. Cheong said that job cuts would be the "last resort" but some people may lose their jobs anycase.
