AUSTRALIA DEFERS SALE OF SYDNEY AIRPORT
SYDNEY, Australian government has decided to defer the sale of Sydney airport to early next year owing to "the disruption to financial and aviation markets following the terrorist attacks on the United States". The airport had been estimated to be worth around $4 billion.
