PHILIPPINE ARILINES POSTPONES PURCHASE OF BOEING PLANES
MANILA, Philippine Airlines (PAL) said it has put on hold plans to buy two Boeing 747 aircraft due to the slowdown for the industry after the attacks in the United States. PAL president and chief executive officer, Avelino Zapanta said "just before the incident we were thinking of the acquisition of one or two aircraft (747s), that's going to be on hold".
