US AIRWAYS CUTS 11.000 JOBS
USA, US Airways yesterday announced it will have to cut its workforce by approximately 11.000 and reduce system capacity (ASMs) by 23% as it struggles to stay alive after the events of the past week. Chairman Stephen Wolf said "the entire US aviation system is in jeopardy".
